Prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart diseases by fetal echocardiography is important role in improving the outcome of newborns with these conditions. In these circumstances, we are also providing safe delivery of your baby and specialized care during his/her postpartum period. The diagnostic tests are performed at the bedside in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The catheter angiography or congenital heart surgery may be done if your baby needs.

The catheter angiography is done for definitive diagnosis and the treatment of common heart defect present at birth.
The catheter intervention for congenital heart disease includes closing holes in the heart, such as ventricular septal defect (VSD) or atrial septal defect (ASD), stenting and/or angioplasty for aortic coarctation or peripheral pulmonary stenosis, balloon valvuloplasty for either aortic or pulmonary valve stenosis, and novel intervention such as pulmonary valve replacement (PVR) in repaired tetralogy of Fallot (TOF).
